Dr Choudhuri is a specialist (FRANZCOG) obstetrician and gynaecologist in Australia and UK (FRCOG) enriching her working experience further in India and the UAE over the last twenty years. She has worked in many renowned tertiary teaching hospitals in the UK (London and Wales) as well as institutions in India and UAE. In Australia, Dr Choudhuri received her training in Westmead Hospital working as a Fellow in Foetal Medicine and Obstetric ultrasound. She also worked in Sunshine Hospital Melbourne in the Gynaecological Oncology department. 

Dr Choudhuri has worked as a consultant in Tasmania for four years and during this period, she enjoyed working on the beautiful North-west coast of Tasmania providing the much-needed service to the women in regional Australia. Over the last two and half years, her work is based in the Central Gippsland region at Sale. Dr Choudhuri is a member examiner of the board of RANZCOG Obstetrics & Gynaecology trainees. She has been a college accredited supervisor for the O & G trainee registrars for many years. She is also involved as an associate researcher at Monash University, Melbourne.  

Dr Choudhuri currently consults in Gippsland Specialist Clinic and will be consulting at Maryvale Private Hospital. She believes in collaborative and shared care with GP. Dr Choudhuri operates at  Latrobe Regional Hospital for patients without any private insurance cover while those with the cover will have provision to be operated at the Maryvale Private Hospital in Morwell. 

Dr Choudhuri provides empathetic care to her patients with whom she creates a very special bond. She is non-judgmental and empowers her patients to participate in their own decision-making while providing her expert help.
